• We use the same high quality 2-way stretch PVC for this product as we do for our other items and the cost of the product reflects that and the time required for construction. For black kimonos the fabric is a thicker patent PVC with a higher gloss than the regular 2-way

• Many customers prefer to purchase this Kimono style a size smaller than their regular size for a tighter and sexier fit, especially if they are shorter or have a smaller frame

The Kimono

This is a beautiful collectors item which will flatter any body type;and comes with the obi shown (corset available here).  This is not the classic boxy kimono shape, it is constructed so that the cut of the kimono flares out from the waist so you can have a small waist with a corset and still have the elegant base.  The front length angles down to 180cm (for the size medium), sleeves are 120 cm long, and the full back at the longest point of the train is 225 when lain flat. Remember it will be shorter on you since it will cinch in at the waist but still its best to wear this with heels. 

The Obi

The obi is constructed from the same colour PVC as the kimono and is backed with foam for rigidity with a satin lining.The obi is shown worn over the corset in some of the images and ties in the back with four straps which are tucked underneath. See the detail shots for closeups. There is a beautiful hand made PVC flower attached to the back corner.  The kimono canmost certainly be worn with just the obi (included) The outfit is greatly enhanced if you cinch the waist using an underbust corset underneath the obi.
