- Black or white bridal lace overlay (we paint the steel boning black or white so its not as visible) over 12 gauge clear plastic. Thick enough to be durable and cinch you without stretching but thin enough to be comfortable and bend with your body.
- Also available with no lace overlay (please specify none in the product options, if you want us to paint the boning white or black or have it just show through as normal you can add a note in the comments of your order)
- The base price comes with thick german plastic boning which will be better for you if you aren't used to wearing corsets (you may also want to go a size up). However the fit is much better with steel boning
- Boning used for the photoshoot is steel (Steel boning is an extra $10 and VERY worth the extra cost, we have excellent thick plastic boning but you can't compare with steel) Two 1/4" flat steel bones at the front, 1/2" flat steel boning at the
back, and the sides are boned with 1/4" spiral steel boning for
flexibility and comfort.
- This corset is designed for girls with slightly larger busts (a large B or greater) and who want more of an hourglass shape. Constructed to cinch the waist more than a regular corset and to flare out at the hips.
- Available with black or white eyelets
The sizing for this corset is smaller than most "off the rack" corsets since with the steel boning you can a 2-4" reduction on the waist. If you have a larger stomach you may want to go a size up to get a more comfortable fit. Its designed more to give you that hourglass curve than serious stomach flattening
Sizing for our steel boned corsets is the waist size minus five and
a half inches so that the corset can be worn with a two inch gap and a
three inch reduction in the waist comfortably. The approximate corset sizes
at their waist are 18.5 for extra small, 20.5 for small, 22.5" for the
medium, 24.5 for large, 26.5 for extra large, and 28.5 for XXlarge
(available upon special request). You will likely want to go a size up if you have never worn a steel corset before.
