The type of lace used for the photoshoot (and the default choice) is cheaper than the bridal Alencon lace we use for some other items so that you can get the same gorgeous raised lace overlay look without the higher price. If you would like the more expensive lace overlay you can choose that in the options below (white bridal lace is $35 extra, black bridal lace is $15 extra).
The sizing for this corset is smaller than most "off the rack" corsets since with the steel boning you can expect a 1-3" reduction to your waist with a 1-3" gap in the back. You'll want to pick a corset with that is 3-5" smaller than your natural waist. Our plastic corsets are sized slightly larger than our usual corsets since the plastic is not as comfortable when laced tightly as something with a lining (although it looks amazingly sexy).
The actual corset belt sizes at their waist (smallest part of the corset) are 20" for XX-small, 22" for extra small, 24" for small, 26" for medium, 28" for large, and 30" for extra large. However if you are comfortable wearing corsets you will want to go a size down for extra cinching power. Most people have no problem wearing this corset fully closed (trust us you'll be surprised at how small you can cinch your waist with this corset because of its size) and it gives great hourglass definition to squarer body shapes.
